I know I have mentioned the law of gravity before in many of my other writings simply because it is one of the natural laws of the universe that we are all familiar with. We know that if we drop something, gravity will cause it to fall toward the floor. But there is another equally valid law, the law of cause and effect, which states that if we do a particular something, then something else will happen. If we think in specific ways then specific things will happen. If we say a particular thing, then that particular thing will happen. We create our lives with our thoughts and with our words.
In the Bible, in Exodus 3:14, Moses asks God what his name is. God answers “I Am that I Am.” Whatever your beliefs about God or the Bible, I think that this story is referring to the god, divinity, or creator inside of all of us. It is saying that whatever we say we are is what we are. For example, if I say “I am tired” then I am, or will become, tired. In other words, we create our lives whenever we say I AM.
So, what am I today? I AM happy, I AM healthy, I AM in love with my husband, I AM so lucky.
